To begin using the M12 device, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting, the app will ask you to create a unique naming for your new robot. It's important to remember that the M12 supports 2.4 GHz networks only.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, due to the internal dToF system. It can maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing excellent object detection. It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs and short-pile carpets. It was a bit shaky when it came across longer-pile carpets, and some long, thick piles of dried-on debris.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box, and requires only the initial mapping run to get it used to your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can add or join rooms as needed. You can also set up virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't want the robot to touch specific objects.
The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head, which puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability both to vacuum and mop makes it an excellent option for homes with two types of flooring. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box), can make it less adaptable than other robots that allow you to use your own cleaning solutions.
